Acoustic mineral wool has a greater density versus its thermal wool counterpart often found in many homes. Due to it in a greater density this open fibrous material is a perfect accompaniment in treating various different construction cavities i.e. between flooring joists, stud frame walls and ceiling voids. Working to compliment a host of different soundproofing systems you will find this used on multiple wall floor and ceiling systems as it has a perfect mix of absorbing and deadening qualities. This products can be easily installed with a long blade retractable knife and can be friction fitted for a perfect hold.
